A tectonic energy runs through this work, suggested by the upward arrangement of angular planes that seem to collide and overlap with one another. The composition is firmly anchored by a solid black block at the base, upon which a terracotta-oxide triangular form is projected, creating a central core of significant visual weight.
Around this axis, fragments in slate gray and ochre complete the structure, evoking the simplified silhouette of a mountain range or a deconstructed architecture. The background, an off-white treated with visible texture, gives the scene a sense of airiness while highlighting the roughness of the forms, consolidating an image of stony solidity.
