This artwork represents the figure of the Minotaur, a hybrid that unites the rational part of the human being with the instinctive part. In the piece, the Minotaur is surrounded by a clamor of voices and screams, creating a confusion that drives it to cling to its most basic instincts and defend itself with its animal strength. However, above its head is the owl, symbolizing wisdom, representing our human and conscious side, which can save it from its brutality.
