"Matadero" is a work that represents over three decades of creation at the Art Brutal gallery-studio, located in the historic Marais district of Paris, from 1972 to 2005. Inspired by the teachings of his masters from Cartagena, this piece reflects a tremendous and brutal style that emerges from the depths of his being, detached from conventional influences. Free from restrictions, the author followed his own path, shaped by the revolutionary environment of the Marais, where forces of contrast and tension are expressed in his art. This work, forged amid conflicts and turmoil, becomes a testament to struggle, collective madness, and the misunderstanding that permeates the human experience.
