"Cantos marinos I y II" by Rocío Mazuecos evoke an underwater universe full of mystery and sensitivity. In each composition, figures of fish make their way through undulating shapes of deep blue, suggesting the hypnotic sway of the sea. Their open mouths and subtly expressive eyes hint at a silent, almost ritual song that seems to emanate from the depths.
The mirrored arrangement between the two works creates a sense of visual and sonic echo, as if one responds to the other in a serene and timeless dialogue. The bodies, wrapped by the waves, convey not only movement but also a state of suspended contemplation.
